Hands down, this is one of the best atheist blogs on the internet. Then again, PDiddie, aka Perry Hussein Dorrell speaks in a way that AtheistConnect understands–pure sarcasm. This guy is a no bullshitting, funny, intelligent writer. Dare to defy him and you might end up getting smoked in front of all of his readers. Call us crazy, but we appreciate someone who can blow pretty much an argument out of the water…but why are we continuing to waste your time? Go check out Brains and Eggs. The blog is part of the Secular Web, which is owned and operated by Internet Infidels, Inc. which is dedicated to defending and promoting a naturalistic worldview on the Internet. Dr. Matt McCormick is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at California State University in Sacramento. His blog, Atheism: Proving the Negative, is certainly worthy of recognition, and I’ve done all I could to keep from linking to it earlier this week. I’ve been completely enthralled by his writing. McCormick provides unique insight into the mind of an atheist, which can often be difficult to put into words. My favorite so far has been “The Morality Test for God.” Dr. McCormick makes some incredibly arguments about the true nature of the biblical depiction of God. Mojoey’s been at this for a long time. This blog started in 2004. For those of you who suck at math, that’s seven years. Blogger was bought by Google in 2003. Before that, it had few users, so Mojoey’s been doing this since the beginning. We can’t imagine coming up with that much content. He has well over 4,000 posts to choose from. The Atheist Revolution has been going strong for six years, and vJack is still providing rock solid content which we have enjoyed reading over the last week. We discovered a similarity with Atheist Rev which instantly made it one of our favorite sites–an ongoing series known as “Idiot of the Week.” It made us wonder if there were just too many idiots to offer only one religious douche of the month. The Unreligious Right THE OPINIONS OF A HIGHLY OPINIONATED RIGHT-WING ATHEIST. The Unreligious Right is very well written and pretty damn interesting. Atheists tend to move left, but David has remained a right-winger, which he calls “the lesser of two evils.” There is a steady mix of atheism and politics on his site, and the content is always excellent. His most recent post, Bad Ideas from American Atheists, challenges the AA’s move to fly banners over public events across the U.S. tomorrow, July 4th. It’s a great blog. I accidentally stumbled onto a site called God is 4 Suckers, but nothing had been updated since 2010. There was some really funny stuff, and I loved the site, but I didn’t want to give the “ABOW” Award to a site that was no longer being used. She’s sarcastic. She’s artistic. She’s an epidemic. I’m in love. Godless Girl is not just an ordinary blog. Not only is it the best we’ve read this week, it might be the best blog we’ve read…ever. It began with her simple and elegant layout. It’s easy on the eyes and all the photos seem to blend together like a professional collage. But it’s not just the appearance. It’s the content.
