It saddens me that Christians continuously put their god above their own flesh and blood – innocent children who need their love, protection, and a decent quality of life. Forgoing a helping hand in time of need over a piece of paper is ridiculous, and won’t give the kid comfort when mommy and daddy can’t feed him because of misplaced principles.
I cannot believe that this couple would not cross of “god” from their sign. The needs of my child would be above all else. And yes, bible story = fairy tale. Just a story that has been passed down, that people choose to put their beliefs in…..makes “god” accountable for their actions instead of themselves.
